  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (fresh preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and one egg to form a soft dough. Press this dough into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and another egg; mix until creamy.
